“Am Feld” was released after "Haldor" and "George Thom" as the third full-time album. While the EP "Sehnsucht" (2013), that’s been released in between, was dominated E-guitar sounds, STEIN return to their origin. Folk, German lyrics, clear structures. It is not the typical neofolk clichés that are served. STEIN goes its own way. Driving and powerful, thoughtful and quiet, conservative, yet searching for new ways of expression.
