Fans of dark ritualistic folk will be very pleased with this new chapter by the project of Ashley (Near Earth Orbit/Whispers in the Shadow). Some tracks sound a bit like the devilish version of Dead Can Dance: dark, scary, dense and haunting, while other are more electronic, but always hypnotic. Between ritual marches, scary atmospheres, sounds of animals in pain and a certain dark folk touch, Ashley and his partners in the band delivered another highly enjoyable album – VERY dark and scary, with lots of field noise and strange but enjoyable sound ideas that seem to come straight out of the inferno. Once again the percussion plays an important role in the setting and if you own and enjoyed the albums 'Haunted Summer' and/or 'Imprint: Dääth', then you know what to expect!
